What we collect

When you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address, and profile picture from Google. We store this to identify your account and personalise your experience.

We also run our own first-party product analytics. This records which features are used (for example that a backtest was run or a strategy was published), a coarse country code, and a device class of mobile or desktop. Nothing else. There is no third-party analytics service involved; the data goes to our own servers and stays there. If you sign in during a browsing session, activity from earlier in that same session is linked to your account. Account-linked analytics happens only with your explicit consent, given at sign-in and changeable anytime in the account menu. Performance measurements and error reports are collected first-party with the same rules (no third parties).

What we never collect

Our analytics never stores IP addresses or precise location. We load no third-party tracking scripts, set no tracking cookies, and share nothing with advertisers or data brokers. Every event is checked against a fixed allowlist on our servers, so free-form text can never end up in the analytics data.

How we use it

Your information is used solely to operate Thuztra — to save your strategies, display your public handle, and associate community contributions with your account. Analytics is used only to understand which features help and which get in the way. We do not sell, share, or monetise your personal data.

Cookies & sessions

We set a single signed session cookie after sign-in. It expires after 30 days or when you sign out. No third-party tracking cookies are used.

If you are not signed in, analytics identifies your visit only by an ephemeral session id kept in your browser tab. It disappears when the tab closes and is never used to recognise you across visits. If you are signed in, your events are linked to your account so we can honour deletion requests.

Your choices

You can turn analytics off at any time with the Usage analytics toggle in the account menu. We also honour the Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control browser signals: if either is enabled, no events are recorded at all.

Data retention

Your account data is retained while your account is active. You may request deletion by emailing team@thuztra.com.

Raw analytics events are deleted after 180 days; only aggregate statistics are kept beyond that. When your account is deleted, the events linked to it are erased with it.
